 Library Information and Upcoming Events:

Preschool Story Time: We have 7 Story Times planned for this winter and early spring. They will be held every other Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The first story time will be "Snowman Fun" on Tuesday, January 27. PLEASE SEE EVENTS PAGE FOR MORE DATES AND THEMES!

Paws to R.E.A.D.:  Please call or stop by the library to reserve your child's spot to read to a trained therapy dog on Tuesday, February 10 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. These programs will be held the second Tuesday evening of each month September through May.

Book Club:  Rebecca Skloot's "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" will be discussed on Thursday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. New members are always welcome! You can request a copy by using our online catalog above, stopping at the library, or by calling us at 583-4325.

February Food for Fines: We will once again host "Food for Fines" during February. For every one non-perishable food item donated, the library will forgive up to a $1.00 fine, with no limit.  This can be applied to fines only, and the library material needs to be returned or renewed and not damaged or lost. Zinio Digital Magazines: Zinio offers digital copies of your favorite magazines.  You have access to 100 popular magazine titles with your library card and an email address!!  The funding for this service is sponsored by Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System.

With Zinio, you can read magazines on your computer or mobile device.  You must first set up a Zinio Library Account with your library card number and an email address. Your Zinio Library Account allows you access to the MWFLS collection of magazines. The website to access Zinio is www.rbdigital.com/midwisconsinwi/zinio.

Free Wireless Internet access is available at the library!


 The Brownsville Public Library is part of trio consisting of 26 libraries in Dodge, Jefferson, and Washington counties sharing resources and technology.  Member library card holders have access to the collections of all member libraries through the online catalog.
