 Library Information and Upcoming Events:

Phone Calls Regarding Holds: Our library system recently implemented a new program in which telephone calls are being made to patrons when an item becomes available for a Hold. These calls have an automated message and are being processed at our system headquarters in Horicon. It will state how many items are available and at which library they should be picked up.

Ukrainian Egg Decorating Class: We will be holding Ukrainian Egg Decorating in the library basement on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. This free program is open to people ages 14 and up. Children between ages 10 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so please call or stop by the library to reserve your spot!

Preschool Story Time: We have 7 Story Times planned for this winter and early spring. They will be held every other Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. PLEASE SEE EVENTS PAGE FOR MORE DATES AND THEMES!

Paws to R.E.A.D.:  Please call or stop by the library to reserve your child's spot to read to a trained therapy dog on Tuesday, April 14 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. These programs will be held the second Tuesday evening of each month September through May.

Book Club:  Khaled Hosseini's "The Kite Runner" will be discussed on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. New members are always welcome! You can request a copy by using our online catalog above, stopping at the library, or by calling us at 583-4325

Zinio Digital Magazines: Zinio offers digital copies of your favorite magazines.  You have access to 100 popular magazine titles with your library card and an email address!!  The funding for this service is sponsored by Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System.

With Zinio, you can read magazines on your computer or mobile device.  You must first set up a Zinio Library Account with your library card number and an email address. Your Zinio Library Account allows you access to the MWFLS collection of magazines. The website to access Zinio is www.rbdigital.com/midwisconsinwi/zinio.

Free Wireless Internet access is available at the library!

 The Brownsville Public Library is part of trio consisting of 26 libraries in Dodge, Jefferson, and Washington counties sharing resources and technology.  Member library card holders have access to the collections of all member libraries through the online catalog.
