 Library Information and Upcoming Events:

Preschool Story Times Now Offered in Morning &Evening:  We are excited to announce the addition of Evening Story Times! Our Story Times will be held every other Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. AND 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the library basement. The content and theme will be the SAME at both. The next Story Time is "Valentine Party" on Tuesday, February 9. Please see more dates and themes on the Events Page!

Paws to R.E.A.D.:  Our next Reading With Dogs program for children will be held on Tuesday, February 9 from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Please call or stop by the library to reserve your spot!

Muffins, Milk and More:  Children are invited to stop by the library on Saturday, February 13 anytime between 10:30 a.m.-Noon to make a Valentine Craft. We will have muffins, chocolate milk and coffee for the children, as well as adults, in attendance. No registration required.

Book Club:   "Peace Like a River" by Leif Enger will be discussed on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brownsville Public Library. The meeting place will now alternate monthly between our library and the Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library. You can request a copy of the book by stopping in or calling us at 583-4325.

February Food for Fines:  We will once again be offering Food for Fines the month of February. For every one non-perishable food item donated, the library will forgive up to a $1 fine, with no limit. This can be applied to fines only, and the library material needs to be returned or renewed and not damaged or lost. The food collected will be donated to the Lomira Area Food Pantry. Please check expiration dates.  Items with expired dates or upcoming expiration dates in February or March of 2016 will NOT be accepted!

Digital Magazines: Zinio offers 100 popular magazine titles accessible with your library card and an email address!!  The funding for this service is sponsored by Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library System. You can read magazines on your computer or mobile device.  You must set up a Zinio Library Account with your library card number and an email address allowing you access to the MWFLS collection of magazines. The website to access Zinio is www.rbdigital.com/midwisconsinwi/zinio.

OverDrive offers approximately 100 digital magazine titles! OverDrive can be accessed on our LINKS Page using your library card number and PIN number. Ebooks, audio books and magazines are available. For the magazines, a NOOK account (no credit card information required) or NOOK tablet and the free NOOK app are needed.

Free Wireless Internet access is available at the library!

 The Brownsville Public Library is part of trio consisting of 17 libraries in Dodge and Washington counties sharing resources and technology.  Member library card holders have access to the collections of all member libraries through the online catalog.
