Fines and Charges

Overdue notices are sent by mail or telephone after the material is due.  If the material is not returned within a designated period, a bill will be sent for the materials which will include the cost of replacement and a service charge for processing, cataloging and postage. Patrons who have been sent a bill notice shall be denied borrowing privileges until those overdue materials are returned or paid for if lost and/or damaged.

All overdue items other than videos/DVDs are $.10 per day, per item
Overdue videos/DVDs are $.1.00 per day, per item.
Maximum fines are $2 per item. 

 Accrued fines or other abuse of library policy may result in suspended library privileges until fines, lost materials or other problems are cleared.

Damaged Materials

If materials are damaged so as to be judged by the library as being unsuitable for the collection, the patron must pay the replacement cost, plus service charge for processing and cataloging as determined by the library staff.
